Sarah received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from University of Maryland Eastern Shore.  She has always loved treating a wide variety of orthopedic cases and went on to become an APTA Board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2021.  Sarah is also a certified vestibular therapist.  In her free time, she loves to spend time with her son hiking, camping, or just watching movies.

Carolyn Burns, PT

Carolyn Burns P.T. is a graduate of Quinnipiac College (now University) in Hamden Connecticut. She moved to Maryland over 20 years ago to begin her career as an Orthopedic PT at what was then Physical Therapy & Sports Fitness. She has worked extensively with orthopedic patients in various settings including outpatient clinics, UMMS Shock Trauma Center, Carroll Homecare & Hospice and Northwest Hospital Center Orthopedic unit. She is married to Marty Burns, co-owner of Visiting Angels. She is the mother of two sons ages 16 and 12. She is an avid cyclist and runner. She enjoys volunteering for Carroll Hospice, Carroll Hospital Center Ladies Auxiliary and JDRF.
